Human ARHGAP25, also known as Rho GTPase-activating protein 25, Rho-type GTPase-activating protein 25 and KIAA0053, is a 648 amino acid protein. It contains one PH domain and one Rho-GAP domain. ARHGAP25 encode negative regulators of Rho GTPases, which are implicated in actin remodeling, cell polarity, and cell migration. ARHGAP25 is GTPase activator for the Rho-type GTPases by converting them to an inactive GDP-bound state.
